WHAT ARE EYELASH EXTENSIONS?

Eyelash Extensions are synthetic hair like strands. When placed on the natural eyelashes this creates a fuller and longer set of eyelashes. Single strands are place on by one for a completely natural look. We prefer to use Mink or Silk at our studio.

HOW LONG DO EYELASH EXTENSIONS LAST?

Eyelash extensions will typically last the length of the natural growth cycle of your eyelashes. Depending on your activity and day-to-day routine, refills are required every 2 to 3 weeks for Classic lashes and 3-4 weeks for 3D Glam.

HOW DO I PREPARE FOR MY EYELASH APPOINTMENT?

You should thoroughly clean your lashes with a mild cleanser and all mascara should be removed. Contact lenses should not be worn during your appointment. Arriving on time to your appointment is strongly advised.

HOW LONG DOES AN EYELASH APPOINTMENT LAST?

The application process for lash extensions normally takes about 90-120 minutes for a full set of lashes and 45-60 minutes for a refill. You will lay comfortably on our studio bed with your eyes closed. Relaxing music is played while you are having your lashes done, however you are free to bring your own ipod and headphones. The eyelash extensions will then be applied to your upper lashes one at a time, and most clients sleep through this process.

HOW WILL I KNOW WHICH LOOK TO GO FOR?

Eyelash extensions are available in a number of lengths and thickness. On arrival at our Lash Lounge your lash artist will discuss the look you are going for and consult with you to understand the style you are interested in. 

 

- The Classic Set (or traditional extensions) are for clients who prefer a natural appearance. These basic extensions are applied one by one... "One natural lash to one eyelash extension". 

 

Volume or Russian Volume provide a more glamorous and fuller look. The process entails attaching multiple hand-made fanned lashes to each natural lash. This creates an extremely voluminous look, making these extensions ideal for those who want to

LASH AFTERCARE

We recommend that the first 24 hours clients avoid water on their face, steam rooms, saunas, sweating and swimming.  Eye Make up removers and facial products should be oil free. It is important not to rub your eyes, pull, pluck or sleep on your lashes. Mascara and Eyelash curlers are strongly forbidden.  We recommend you clean your lashes regularly with an oil free cleanser to remove and dirt, oil and debris build up on your lash line. Cleaning your lashes daily will help maintain the health of your lash line and prolong your eyelash extensions. We sell our very own Tea Tree and vitamin E foaming cleanser, which is tear free and freshing for the eyes.
